A system of government chosen freely by the people, accountable to the people, and independent of religious authority.

Freedom and equal rights

Equal dignity, rights, and protection under the law for every citizen, regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, or belief.

Sovereignty and territorial integrity

A unified, sovereign Iran whose independence and borders are respected and preserved.

The 7 Aban Front opposed the proposed ratification of the Aktau Convention, arguing that it would diminish Iran’s historic Caspian rights and access to natural resources. It said such an approval would lack national legitimacy and should not bind a future national government.
